1. What does Containerised Freight carry?

QRNational's containerised service carries general freight up to 6m long and 2.4m wide and 2.4m high. We offer bulk and specialised services to locations throughout Australia. We also specialise in food, beverage, retail, wholesale, manufacturing, dangerous goods and agriculture.

2. What areas does QRNational service?

We offer services Australia wide. Traditional state borders are no longer barriers to our growing national transport logistics solution. With over 50 terminals throughout Queensland, Sydney and Melbourne and agents in Perth and Adelaide, we provide a professional service which includes logistics, supply chain management, linehaul and terminal operations.

3. Does QRNational only transport freight?

No, our services aren’t limited to transport. We also provide freight consolidation, storage, on-shipment, warehousing and repacking. Our broad logistics capability means that in addition to rail, we are able to offer value-added services such as freight consolidation, storage, warehousing, dangerous goods, repacking bulk to smaller loads, materials handling and refrigeration services.

7. Does the quote include insurance?

For a fee of $6, a standard cover applies which will provide loss and damage cover up to the value of $1000*. If you require additional insurance options, please call us for assistance.

8. How do my goods need to be wrapped and labelled?

Your goods need to be securely bound and positioned within the confines of a pallet (shrink wrapping and / or securely strapped) or with bulk freight securely strapped.

All consignments must be clearly labelled with the receivers name, delivery address and total number of items. Where possible the consignment note number is to be noted on each item.
